What a delightful thought experiment. I think for those of us who don’t actually believe in a literal devil this is enabling to look at one’s pitfalls with the necessary detachment and humor. It also seems like the inverse of the idea where you would ask what, if someone saw your life as a movie, they would scream at the screen you should obviously do.
