I think if you really want to know yourself, you must follow a spiritual path. That will allow you to see yourself as you truly are: like a piece of marble, rough, uncut, but waiting inside the person you were born/meant to be. The path of spirituality will help you uncover that person, whittling away what is bad, unnecessary, and smoothing and polishing what is good and beautiful and amazing!

This points to why so many people are busy but still feel disconnected from themselves. It’s easy to stay productive while losing a sense of direction or authorship over your own life. I like how this brings attention back to intention instead of speed. It invites a slower, more conscious way of choosing what actually deserves our energy.
