This week’s Monday shot of Existential Espresso is going to look a little bit different.
That’s because, over the past week, what I’ve been reading and thinking about is the same thing, and I haven’t had much time to watch or listen to anything.
What I’ve been working on for quite some time is the long-requested book recommendations list.
The reason it took me so much time to make it is simple: I wanted to make sure that every single book on the list is worth your time and attention IF you decide to read it. So, this is not a list of all the books that you “must” read or, even worse, books that “everyone should read.”
It is a list where all of the books fit the following criteria:
-They had a great impact on me and have contributed to my development as a human being.
-They cover the topics that my readers are most interested in.
In order to help you choose which book might be the one for you, I've made an effort to provide context on each book, explaining the topics it deals with, who might find it interesting and useful, as well as who might not.
Without further ado, you can download the list here for free.
I hope you enjoy it.
Stay strong, love life, and never feel sorry for yourself. And also read good books.
If you like my work and get some value from it, there is zero-cost support in the form of subscribing, liking this post, commenting if you have any thoughts on it, and of course sharing this with anyone who would find it interesting.
Or you can consider becoming a paid supporter of Existential Espresso for 5$ per month. By doing this you would be helping me to keep investing time into researching and writing all the content on the daily basis.
What you get by becoming a paid supporter is access to the locked essays (such as “Why Having a Price on My Head Didn’t Upset Me”or “Why Living With a Bulletproof Vest is The Best Thing to Ever Happen to Me”), as well as an opportunity to recommend topics for future essays.
However, even taking the time out of your day to read what I have to share with you means more to me than you can imagine. Thank you.
Thanks for the list! Humbling to see you sharing your thoughts!
thank you sooo soo much for doing this and also for pointing out this:
it is not a list of all the books that you “must” read or, even worse, books that “everyone should read.”
but
-They had a great impact on me and have contributed to my development as a human being.
